Biography

 (born Luca Giuseppe Pasqualino on 19 February 1990 in Peterborough, England)[1] is an English actor, best known for his portrayal of Freddie McClair in the television series Skins.
Early life
Pasqualino attended Walton Community School, in Walton, Peterborough. He is of Italian heritage: Sicillian on his father's side and Neapolitan on his mother's.[2] He attended the drama classes held by Martin Tempest at Stamford Art Centre. He auditioned for the part of Tony Stonem in Series 1 but it went to Nicholas Hoult. Before landing a part in Skins he performed numerous plays and had done some modelling. Pasqualino also worked in his father's salon, Image International.
Career
In 2009, Pasqualino played the leading role in a budget film called Stingers Rule!.[3] Pasqualino played Freddie McClair in the third and fourth series of the teen drama Skins.[4] He starred in the new series of Casualty in September, as a streetrunner in a shopping mall, and appeared in a 2009 episode of Miranda, a BBC comedy, with Miranda Hart, playing a hotel worker. He will star as character 'Greg' in the upcoming horror film The Apparition alongside Twilight star Ashley Greene and Harry Potter star Tom Felton.[5] He appeared on The Weakest Link and came second after The Inbetweeners actor Simon Bird. He is set to play William "Husker" Adama in the upcoming Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome and currently appears as Paolo in the Showtime series The Borgias.
Luke's up-coming films include Love Bite where he acts with Jessica Szohr and Ed Speleers, to be released on February 2012.
Personal life
Pasqualino currently resides in London. Luke is a supporter of his hometown club Peterborough United and Premier League club Chelsea.
